Week 11/12 and 11/14 (Week 11)

This week we will:

• Start Lesson 17 
• Learn Lesson 17 vocabulary 
• Learn additional personality WFR 
• Learn about Chinese culture of "sajiao" 

Homework: 

• Study Lesson 17 Dialogue I and II vocabulary for Monday
• Lesson 17A character sheet due Wednesday 

By the end of Lesson 17, you should be able to: 

·         Describe going on a date using lesson vocabulary and grammar

·         Describe someone using adjectives describing men and women

·         Describe someone using adjectives describing people’s personality

·         Compare and contrast Western and Chinese/East Asian dating attitudes using additional vocabulary on dating (撒娇，etc.)

·         Discuss Chinese dating culture and etiquette using additional vocabulary on dating (ex. 相亲, 媒人, etc.)
